Portfolio Sites
You may have noticed that A3webtech are a little bit different from other SEO agencies.
The same applies in regard to our portfolio or reference sites. Like some other agencies we have decided to remove these from public view. There are several reasons, among which are:
1. The occasional changes in climate of opinion within individual search engines that mean SEO is not popular with them, and the possible result of naming websites that have received our assistance. "It's like painting a bulls-eye on them", as one SEO firm stated, and it is hard to disagree with that statement when one sees the hysteria with which SEO is occasionally received at some search engines. The wind of fashion in this area blows one way then the other, but a safe option is discretion for our clients. Despite the fact that our version of SEO is slightly different from that of most - we operate as an online business consultancy and emphasise quality improvements - it still seems best to maintain our client's privacy. We neither need nor ask for links from them so this point is irrelevant.
2. Professional services are supplied in an atmosphere of discretion. We don't advertise the fact and don't need to. In addition, much of our work is sub-contract, and therefore we cannot name either the contracting agency or the end-client.
3. Our methods are different and we tend to keep ahead of the pack. If a number of our sites could be analysed by a competitor then they might find hints and tips to enable them to close the gap. We don't really want to be training our rivals. There are some obvious ways that we clearly lead and these can be derived by analysis - we just don't do what the others do in some areas. It is not the case that all SEO is the same or similar - there are some major differences between the top SEO agencies and we are no different. If you pick any two well-known names in SEO you'll find their 'signature' can be very different.
And it won't be possible to locate our clients' sites from backlinks: we don't place them on client sites. Any links we have from standard websites are from associates and colleagues who we haven't worked for. Trying to analyse those should prove interesting!
When we discuss an SEO, CMS or ecommerce project with you we will include some relevant sites whose owners you can contact for a testimonial.
We will also include a zip file of screenshots of the 50 or so #1 search positions this site has or has had on the largest search engine (global version). These don't include the myriad #2 to #4 positions, the large number of equivalent #1 to #4 positions on other global search engines, or the even larger number of #1 to #4 slots on the local national version of the large search engines.
This site is extremely unusual in many respects as it is the only 100% organic, 100% ethical SEO agency-owned website in the world. We have never advertised it in any way; we have never cold-called or emailed another site owner asking for a link; we have never submitted the site to search engines, directories or anything else; we don't place links on client sites; and we have few links and therefore a low page rank. Nevertheless the site has a huge number of #1 to #4 search positions.
How? Simple: very high quality in just about every area. Actually that's quite hard for competitors to emulate as they simply don't get it.
The site is demonstrably clean, provably organic, and provably ethical. Results such as these would require a huge investment of cash and synthetic linking by most other SEO people.
When you can do this it tends to demonstrate that you know what you are doing. Client sites will need advertising and linking projects but this is understood. We have shown that this may not be necessary for the expert, given sufficient time to allow a pure quality policy to operate. As a reference site you can't really do much better than this one - there aren't many unique websites after all...
