Mike,

As you say this isn't straightforward, calling 'pure' DB info onto a Drupal page. But it has to be possible.

Let's look at it from a basic point of view, say you only had one DB (I know you have lots). The simple way is, you run the page off and then paste that onto a page and it's done. OK if you have 100 pages maybe (especially as you can outsource) but it's steam age, fair enough.

But there has to be a way to get that on the page somehow without a manual stage. I don't know how as I'm not a DB guy (that's you isn't it?), so the question is simply how. And if you can do it for one page, off one DB - then you can do it for a zillion pages out of n databases - yes?

The beauty of it is that it's a PHP call, not CGI, so you should will be OK with Mr G. It's just the mechanics.

At least that would save running off a zillion pages. You just need to find out how.
